The U14 Girls Explosion team returned to the pitch to open the Fall season in Downingtown, PA at Spirit Kickoff Classic tournament. The girls tied their first game 1-1 against Concord Fury (DE). The girls fell behind 1-0 in the second game but rallied to beat Commack Attack (NY) 3-1 to advance to the Silver bracket semi-finals.
The girls played Century United Thunder (Pittsburgh) in the semi-final falling 1-0 on a corner kick with less than 7 minutes to play. A good showing by the girls against good competition. Century United went on to win the bracket in their next game.
